BOLARINWA OLANIRAN LATEEF – CORPORATION SECRETARY
Mr. Bolarinwa Olaniran Lateef was born on 20th march, 1966 to Alhaji Ganiyu Bolarinwa and Alhaja Zinot Bolarinwa of Igbo-Ese-Yore (Snake Island, Apapa) in Awori-Ajeromi Local Government Area of Lagos State.
He attended St. Paul’s Catholic Primary School, Apapa Road, Ebute-meta, Lagos for his primary education between 1971 – 1977 and proceeded to Baptist Boys High School, Saje, Abeokuta, Ogun State for his secondary between 1977 – 1982.
His quests for tertiary education spur him to Lagos State University, Ojo where he bagged Bachelor of Art, English (Honours) in 1991 and Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration from the Polytechnic Ibadan in 2004.
Mr. Bolarinwa Olaniran Lateef started his working career from Vitamalt Plc. Agbara, Ogun State (1992 – 1993) as Sales Executive covering the whole of Kosofe and Ikorodu LGAs respectively before joining the employment of the Lagos State Government through the Lagos State Teaching Service Commission as Master Grade II (Classroom Teacher) on Salary Grade Level 08 in 1993.
He did an intra-service transfer from the Lagos State Teaching Service Commission to the Mainstream Civil Service and was re-designed into the Administrative Cadre in 2006.
Mr. Bolarinwa had since worked in different Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Lagos State Government such as Public Service Office, Directorate of Service matter (2006 – 2008), Lands Bureau, Directorate of Lands Use and Allocation Committee (2008 – 2012), Ministry of the Establishments, Training and Pensions, Office of Establishments (2012 – 2013.
In view of the diligence and commitment displayed by Mr. Bolarinwa to service delivery, he was redeployed to Lands Bureau, Directorate of Lands Use and Allocation Committee in 2013 – 2016, before his deployment to Lagos State Public Works Corporation, an Agency under the supervision of Ministry of Works and Infrastructure as the Corporation Secretary cum Head Administration and Human Resource Department.
Mr. Bolarinwa Olaniran Lateef is a member of the following professional bodies: Chartered Institute of Management & Leadership (CIM&L), Nigeria Institute of Training and Development (NITAD) and Association of Corporate Governance Practitioners of Nigeria (ACGPN). He is happily married with lovely kids.
